HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR WAXING TREATMENT
1. Longer, not shorter
I prefer 1/2 inch hair length to work with, NO SHORTER THAN 1/4TH. Having said that... If you are wondering if you should trim the answer is yes, just no shorter than 1/4th inch.
2. Cut the pain
Don't fool yourself into thinking that the pain won't be that bad... It is. Get some Numbing Cream (anything with atleast 5% Lidocaine).
3. Expand those follicles
Take a warm bath or shower right before coming in. That will help loosen up the follicles that encase the root of the hair.
4. Hydrate, Moisturize, Hydrate
I cannot stress this enough. Hydration will help the skin more than anything else. Cut the soda for the day and drink a TON of water and then apply a wicked amount of moisturizer (whatever you have).
5. Leave the briefs at home
Loose clothing will help lessen the irritation that may follow after your follicles and pores are exposed.
6. Pop the pills
Take some ibuprofen 30 minutes prior to your service. This won't help much with the pain, but it will take care of the swelling.
